7aSavvy was founded in 2023 by business loan professionals with decades of experience in the SBA loan industry. After working with small business loans for so long, we thought there must be a better way for current and prospective small business owners to navigate the complicated SBA 7(a) loan market. We created 7aSavvy to be that better way, aiming to help borrowers all over the country get the financing they need.

Through our Get Connected form, borrowers can get connected with the lender best suited for their particular loan, as well as get a head start on the SBA 7(a) loan process, all at no cost to them. We love what we do, and we’re passionate about helping current and prospective small business owners achieve their dreams!

Meet Brett Smith

7aSavvy’s founder, president, and CEO is Brett Smith. He is an SBA loan broker and SBA loan industry veteran who has worked on over $1 Billion in loans. His success is due to his vast industry knowledge, extensive network of relationships, and above all, a deep commitment to serving the borrower.

Mr. Smith has been an SBA loan broker for 15 years, and has worked hard to help countless borrowers attain financing. Before that, he worked on the lender side of the industry for 20 years, including co-founding a bank and being a top SBA BDO/loan producer at 9 different banks in the top 25 of SBA lending volume.

Now, he has founded 7aSavvy as a fintech loan brokering platform in order to help more borrowers get SBA 7(a) loans and achieve their business goals.
